Ok so after last months disappointing First Birthday Glossy Box I decided I would give it one more month to redeem itself before I cancelled and all I can say is I wish I hadn't wasted another £12.95 on what is possibly the worst box yet in my opinion.
The first item is the Vichy Dermablend Ultra-Corrective Foundation Cream samples in six different shades. It says that this is for minor to severe skin flaws and I guess this product would be great if you have some scarring on your face or maybe a birthmark but it's not something I would say I needed, I'll give it a try though.
Next item is the Caudalie Eaux Fraiches, described as "an energizing, secret and sensual fragrance" containing White Musk, Neroli and Ginger. This perfume smells absolutely amazing! I'm loving Caudalie more with every product that I try and I'm definitely going to buy this when I need a new perfume. You get a 10ml sample which is in a spray bottle so it's really handy and is the best item by far in this months box.
I was really happy when I saw the HD Brows box because I'd love to try some of their products but then I realised that it was tweezers inside the box. I have tweezers already so I really wasn't jumping for joy when I saw these, they look like they'll be good but not something I was excited by.
Next is the BM Beauty Summer Warmth Bronzer, a multi purpose pure mineral bronzer. I don't use bronzer as I'm pretty fair and they always end up making me look orange or my face way darker than my body, if I did use a bronzer I'm pretty sure I'd want a matte one and this one is very shimmery so it's pretty safe to say I will not be using this as a bronzer, I would however use it as an eye shadow as I do like the colour of it and I like bronze eye shadow so I will use it but again not an item that I'm really excited about.
The last item is the Serie Exclusiv Pro Beauty Brush which is a natural goat hair blush brush, another item that doesn't particularly excite me.
So overall as with last month I loved the perfume but I didn't subscribe to Glossy Box to discover new perfumes, I find myself feeling pretty disappointed again and I think it's time for a change so I have cancelled my Glossy Box subscription. Now I need to decide if I want to subscribe to something else, I'm thinking maybe She Said Beauty or Jolie Box, or do I just want to use the money to buy myself some new makeup every month, I haven't decided yet.
