I've been wanting to try something different with my hair for a while now and I really wanted to try some clip in extensions as I think they can give you a dramatically different look very quickly and easily, so when I was contacted by Cliphair.co.uk to try out some of their clip in hair extensions I jumped at the chance!

If like me you're not very familiar with clip in extensions and you don't know what Remy extensions are here's a little explanation. The term 'Remy' means 'cuticle correct'. This ensures that the cuticle on each hair is running the same way (downwards), in order to keep the hair shiny, soft and tangle free.
I chose some 20 inch double wefted extensions as I have really thick hair and the double wefts have twice as much hair on each clip as the single wefts.
The customer service was fab at Cliphair and they helped me a lot with choosing which colour I needed as I have coloured hair with highlights and I didn't have a clue which one to choose, all I had to do was take a few photos of myself and email them to their colour matching service and they got back to me really quickly with a couple of their recommendations, I chose colour 9/613 which is an ash brown/blonde mix as I wanted to add some blonde to my hair and I love them! However if you do chose the wrong colour you can send them back free of charge and get a different colour.
The extensions clip under your own hair by small snap on clips, in my set I got 2 large sections with 3 clips, 2 medium sections with 2 clips and 4 small sections with 1 clip. The clips are really easy to use and attach really securely to your hair keeping it in place until you want to remove them. To remove them all you have to do is unsnap the clips and slide them out. As the clip in extensions are human hair you can curl them, straighten them, wash them and even dye them!

I love how they transform the colour of my hair, I recently dyed it dark after having a full head of highlights which is why it's a weird brown colour and I've been feeling quite dull but these extensions really brighten me up and I think they're perfect for a night out or special occasion to give me a different look.

I'm definitely sold on these and I can't believe how easy they are to use and trust me I'm rubbish at anything to do with hair so if I can use them then anyone can.
