With the Olympics fast approaching swiftly followed by the Paralympics everyone is getting into the spirit of things and there's no better way to show your support than by wearing it!
Next have designed scarfs for Team GB and Paralympics GB Supporters as part of their support for London 2012 and they were kind enough to send me one so that I can spread the word.
This is the Team GB Scarf, it comes in two sizes large (£10) and small (£5)
The design includes
- 900 Figures to represent the 900 athletes of Our Greatest Team.
- 900 Hearts to show our special love for each of them.
- 900 Stars to recognise that every one of our athletes is a true star.
- 14 Paralympic Lions to remind us we're also celebrating and supporting the 14th Paralympic Games this year.
- 60 Hands to symbolise the athletes' sixty million supporters.
- 26 Olympic Sports are all represented on the scarf.
- Date of the London 2012 Opening Ceremony.
- 1 Map of Great Britain.
I received the Paralympics GB Scarf which is also available in two sizes large (£10) and small (£5).
This scarf features a hand painted Lion which is a visual reflection of a quote that describes the sheer courage, talent and determination of our Great British Athletes.
I've employed the help of my lovely dog Macho to help me model the scarf as he loves the Olympics too!
