L'Oreal EverPure Shampoo & Conditioner Review!

I got sent some samples of the new L'Oreal EverPure Shampoo and Conditioners so I thought I'd give them a try and let you know what I think!

This range of hair products is sulphate free which is something that a lot more people are looking for in their hair care products now, I didn't know much about sulphates or why they were bad for your hair until I got these samples so I did a little research. I found out that sulphates are detergents that produce lather, they are commonly found in products like soap, body wash and shampoos. The reason they are bad for your hair is because not only do they remove dirt and product residue from it they also strip away your hairs natural oils and hair colour if you have coloured hair. Sulphates can also be very harsh on sensitive scalps.

I have a very sensitive scalp and I also have coloured hair so I definately should be using sulphate free hair products and after trying the L'Oreal EverPure shampoo and conditioner I won't be going back to my old products.

The new range includes shampoos and conditioners for all different hair types, EverPure is for coloured, dry and over processed hair, EverStrong is for fragile and brittle hair and EverSleek which is for coarse and frizzy hair. There are also other hair care products in the range to go along side the shampoos and conditioners such as Intense Masks and Shine Serums.

I got sent the EverPure shampoo and conditioner which was great for me as I have coloured hair, the samples were a good size, more than enough for me to do two shampoos and plenty of conditioner as I have long, thick hair.

I really liked the scent of these products, the shampoo contains rosemary and juniper and it smelt herbal but quite fruity aswell, it lathered up really nicely and was easy to rinse out.

The conditioner also contained rosemary and this smelt herbal too but with a hint of mint as it also contains peppermint. It was a nice, thick, creamy consistency and when I applied it to my hair I was able to comb my hair through really easily which is always a bonus for me as my hair gets very tangled and sometimes combing it through can be quite uncomfortable if the conditioner I'm using isn't very good.

I have to say I was really impressed with these products and even after one use I've noticed a difference in my hair, I always leave my hair to dry naturally and normally when my hair has towel dried for a bit and I go to put my products in it's quite fluffy and dry and after using the EverPure products I took the towel off my hair and it was really smooth and sleek, no fluffy, dry hair to be seen, not even on the ends!

I will definately be purchasing these products when my current products run out, you can buy them from Boots, Superdrug, Tesco and Sainsburys for around £5.99 and I know they're currently on offer in Boots for 2 for £9, click here for Boots website.

Have you tried these products yet? What did you think? Do you use sulphate free products?

Let me know!
