Since having my son I've developed major dark circles underneath my eyes mainly from lack of sleep which doesn't really make sense because he sleeps really well lol. I was on the lookout for a good eye product that would help me combat my dark circles and this product keep popping up on blogs and Youtube videos and everyone was raving about it so I thought I'll give it a try!
It's the Garnier Caffeine Anti-Dark Circles Eye Roll On in the shade Light, in theory this should be the perfect product for me as it claims that "the cooling roller ball refreshes and hydrates tired looking eyes" and "Mineral pigments cover dark circles in a flash". Basically it's kind of like an eye cream and concealer in one, sounds great!
Unfortunately the skin around my eyes did not like this product at all :( when I applied it, it made the skin under my eyes look really dry which it isn't and then it started to tingle/sting very slightly, it was nothing major and I didn't feel like I needed to rush to the bathroom and wash it off but it was a bit irritating, maybe it was the caffeine in it that caused the tingle I'm not sure. I don't have sensitive skin under my eyes and nothing has ever irritated my skin there before so I really don't know why this didn't agree with me.
I found the consistancy of this to be quite runny and very light, almost white but it blended well although I can't say it looked nice on me as it made my skin so dry it just looked horrible. I'm really gutted that I don't get on with this because I think if it works for you then it's a great product but I've tried it a few times to see if there was any way I could make this work for me and all I got was sore eyes :( So I'm still on the lookout for a 'miracle' product to help with my dark circles, if anyone can recommend anything please let me know!
Has anyone else experienced anything similar with this product or does everyone just love it?
