These are the products I received
BM Beauty Pure Minerals Eyeshadow in the colour Wolf Howl
So what is BM Beauty? Pussycat Doll, Kimberly Wyatt, joined forces with her Scottish business partner and friend Laura McComiskie to bring you an exciting, new, all natural make up brand, BM Beauty - BM standing for Beautiful Movements. Kimberly and Laura are both passionate about the environment and cosmetics so it was a natural progression to combine the two. Through BM Beauty it is their aim to provide exciting, high quality cosmetics along with the advice on how to create the looks you desire.
Is it natural? Of course! And cruelty free. They are proud to say that the BM Beauty range has been approved by the BUAV. That's the British Union for the Abolition of Vivisection. That means that their products and the ingredients in them are not tested on animals.
The first thing I loved about this eyeshadow was the name, Wolf Howl is a gorgeous midnight blue/purple colour. It appears to be a buildable colour so it can be quite subtle or very intense depending what look you're going for. I'm quite excited about trying this eyeshadow and I'll tell you my opinion when I do!
DuWop Venom Gloss in the colour Buttercup
DuWop has taken the classic tinted lip gloss, chosen nine fabulous universal shades and mixed in just the right amount of the Lip Venom formula to create Venom Gloss. This gloss has the same ingredients as the other Lip Venom infused products; Jojoba, Avocado and Sunflower Oil and added Beeswax for protection and Green Tea for soothing, however they have also added the subtlest amount of colour so that when you’re looking for that Venom pout but also colour, you have it right here. Each tube has a handy angled head to allow easy application.
I tried this gloss and I didn't like it, it was very sticky and gloopy and it's very tingly, so much in fact that I had to wipe it off my lips because it was uncomfortable.
A hand sanitizer infused with organic lavender essential oil in a handy spray size perfect to keep in your handbag.
This product will probably come in useful to me as I have an 18 month old son and it's always useful to have hand sanitizer handy for my hands and his (how many times can I say hands in one sentance lol). It smells nice if you like lavender but it wasn't a product that I got excited about.
Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Relaxing Balm
Intense hydrating treatment. Provides superior slip and wet combing, softens without plumping the hair shaft, and helps prevent mechanical damage to the cuticle. Our exclusive Super Skinny Complex penetrates into the hair where it softens and constricts the fibre. The result is a smoother surface, tighter diameter and greatly reduced drying time. Smoothes and Softens – Wheat and vegetable proteins team up with conditioning ingredients to moisturize hair from within, protecting locks while leaving them soft and silky smooth. Resists Humidity – A unique, humidity resistant ingredient provides incredible memory that lasts in any weather, creating an ideal foundation for heat styling. Saves Time – Skinnier strands make heat styling a cinch; the exclusive Super Skinny Complex displaces water and constricts every strand for reduced dry time and speedy styling. This amazing treatment is a great styling tool, using 3-4 pumps will retain the moisture levels and porosity levels for consistent tension, and letting the super skinny complex work it’s magic- setting you up for an instant win with a long lasting super smooth result.
I'm definately excited about this product as it sounds like something that could be really good for my hair (I have naturally curly/frizzy hair) I haven't had chance to use this yet but I'll let you know how I get on with it.
Como Shambhala Invigorate Shower Gel
Invigorate Shower Gel. Recharge in the mornings with this energising shower gel. A revitalising blend of eucalyptus, peppermint, lavender and geranium essential oils in this body cleanser puts you in a perfectly uplifted mood.
I don't tend to get excited about shower gels I must say so this wasn't really that thrilling for me, it's useful as a travel item I guess, not even sure I really like the smell either.
Overall I'm left feeling a little deflated after my first months Glossy Box however I have heard that the March Glossy Box is going to be The Harrods Edition which sounds very exciting! I just hope I'm not disappointed again. I hope my first post on here was ok, I'd really appreciate any comments anyone has for me, thankyou!
