So the first thing I picked up was the Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection 16 Hour Wear Concealer (wow the name is really long) which was £4.99 and I got it in the shade Light 2, I haven't tried it yet but I'll definately let you know what I think about this. Sorry this picture is a funny way up, I couldn't figure out how to rotate it.
Then I noticed that Maybelline had a 3 for 2 offer on all their makeup items and they had got the Color Tattoo 24 Hour Eyeshadows in stock so I thought I've got to get one of those as all the US Youtube beauty gurus have gone mad for them and I'd been waiting for them to come out here. At my Superdrug they were priced at £4.99 each and they only had 3 colours available, gold, bronze and blue but that was fine because I really wanted the bronze one anyway. I haven't had time to try this out yet but I'm quite excited about using it and seeing how it lasts and if it creases.
So because of the 3 for 2 offer of course I had to buy something else so that I could get my free item so then I noticed the Eyestudio Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner 24 hour in 01 Black it was £7.99 (what is it with Maybelline and 24 hours? Who wants their makeup to last 24 hours anyway? lol) I've never used a gel liner before but I've seen it used a lot and it looks really nice so I though I'd give this a go, I haven't used it yet because I get the feeling that I'm gonna need some major practice with this. It comes with a brush but I may have to buy a better one because the brush looks a little thick to me, I'll let you know how I get on with it.
Last but not least I decided to get another concealer lol I know it's silly but I do have a reason for 2 different concealers. I like my under eye concealer to be lighter than my natural skintone to brighten up my eye area but I don't want to cover up blemishes with a lighter concealer as it just draws attention to them so I also need a concealer that matches my skintone. So I got the Dream Lumi touch Highlighting Concealer in Ivory 01 £6.99, which is the lightest colour. I've also heard a lot of good things about this concealer so I thought I'd give it a try. It has a brush end on it and you twist the other end to pump the product out which is quite handy for applying concealer.
I'll let you know what I think about all of these products after I've used them for a couple of weeks as I like to give them a good trial period before I judge them. Hopefully I'll like them! Anyone tried any of these before? What did you think? I'd love to hear from you :) xxx
