Meow!
These have to be the cutest nails I have ever had. I cannot stop looking at them, I just can't get over them! And they were literally one of the easiest nail art looks I have ever done!
I ordered these nails off ebay through a seller call Janchristie, who sell numerous animal related nail stickers at amazing prices. My kitty ones were only £2.20, and I got 24 stickers! They also can make you your own nail stickers if you send them a photo, which I think is amazing. I'm so tempted to get Mimi nail stickers! Haha!
So, basically, they recommend you paint your nails with a pale colour, so the sticker doesn't show up on your nail. So I used one of my recent favourites - Collection 2000 Hot Looks in Candy Floss. I applied three coats for an opaque look, then waited for the polish to completely dry. I then cut up my nail stickers around the cat images, cutting as close as I possibly could but still leaving a reasonable gap around the edge. You then peel off the stickers very gently and place them on your nails - I used tweezers to peel them away and position them, then pressed them on with my fingers to make sure they were nice and stuck down! Once all the stickers were applied, I painted over with a clear varnish to seal the sticker.
You get such instant satisfaction from these nail stickers, they're just so pretty and, well cool! I'm definitely going to be ordering again, I really want some to wear for my cousin's wedding! Plus, the envelope they came in was the cutest ever, with loads of useful instructions and ever a selection of sample stickers!
They now have their own website too! Janchristie.com! Let me know if you've tried out any of their products out or any other nail stickers! Would love to see how your nails turned out! (Now, back to work Marie!! Wah!)
Milani Baked Blush!
I watch a lot of US Beauty Guru videos on Youtube and this product kept popping up again and again so I decided I had to get my hands on one of these!
This is how Milani describe their Baked Blushes "A luxurious powder blush that features a mélange infusion of colors baked on Italian terracotta tiles. Easy to use, sensorial in texture, the nuances of color become extraordinarily luminous. Silky smooth application leaves your face looking healthy and radiant all day."
Milani Baked Blush in Corallina |
You can't get these in the UK but they're really easy to get hold of on Ebay, I think this cost about £8 including postage which I thought was pretty good!
I got this in the shade Corallina which is a gorgeous coral colour with a highlighting shade swirled in to it, it does have some sparkle to it but I found that the sparkle rubs off quite easily if you don't like it by just going over it a few times with your blusher brush.
I personally like the sparkle and think it's a perfect blusher for going out in the evening and especially in summer when you've got a tan.
When you open the blusher it actually has another compartment in the bottom with a mirror and a brush, I wouldn't use the brush but the mirror is always handy to have.
I really like this blusher and I don't own anything else like it, it comes in a range of shades and I think the other shades aren't as sparkly as Corallina so if you're put off by sparkles then don't fear there are other less glittery shades.
I'm really glad I got this and I might even get some of the other shades when I've got some spare cash. What do you think? My US followers have probably had these for ages so let me know if there are other shades you would recommend me to try!

April Glossy Box - Natural Beauty Edition
I feel like I've been waiting an eternity for this months Glossy Box to arrive, it finally came today and after last months amazing Harrods Edition I thought this months box might have been disappointing but I was pleasantly surprised.
This months theme is natural beauty and the box is 100% biodegradable. This time it contains five natural beauty products, here's what I got.
First up is Monu Moisture Rich Collagen Cream 50ml which I believe is full size and worth £17.50!
I really like the sound of the anti-aging properties in this product but I'm a little put off by the fact that this appears to be for dry skin and I have oily skin so I'm not sure if this will work for me, I'll give it a try though.
Next I got Burt's Bees Naturally Nourishing Milk and Honey Body Lotion 70g which sounds and smells amazing! Can't wait to try this.
The next product is Caudalie Vinosource SOS Thirst-Quenching Serum 10ml, this also appears to be aimed more at drier skin types so we'll see how I go with this. It says to apply it am and pm before your moisturiser.
I got quite excited about this next item as it is a lip balm and as some of you may already know I have a lip balm addiction! It's the Figs and Rouge Cherry and Vanilla Balm and this can be used not only on the lips but also on your body if you have any dry areas. It smells gorgeous and will definately be something I'll use a lot. This item is also full size.
Lastly I got the Inika Cosmetics Certified Organic Eye Liner in the shade 12 Purple Minx, I was really pleased that I got the purple one because I don't own a purple eyeliner and I can't wait to try it! However when I swatched it on my hand it rubbed off quite easily so we'll see how long it lasts on my eyes.
I have to say I'm really pleased with this months box, I'm very impressed with getting three full size items and I can't wait to try everything!
What did you get in your box? I love to find out what everyone else got so let me know!

Primark and New Look Haul!
I took my mum on a little shopping trip to Derby yesterday, I had no intention of buying anything.......but I came home with this!
I swear I just can't help myself when it comes to Primark, they have so many gorgeous things I could have bought so much more so this is me being restrained lol
The first thing I got was this lilac sheer blouse which I thought was the perfect colour for Spring/Summer and would go perfectly with my mint skinny jeans. This was £10.
Next I got this amazing sheer teal coloured top, I really liked this because of the Aztec print on the front pocket and the back of this top. I also like the high low hem line and for £6 I thought it was a bargain!
I absolutely love this sleeveless blouse and yes I have gone mad for sheer tops, it's a gorgeous blush pink colour and it also has the high low hem line. This was £8.
Then I saw this teal t-shirt which is kind of distressed and see through which I thought would look nice with a black vest top underneath, it's just something easy to wear with jeans when I'm messing about with my little boy and it was only £4.
I didn't really need another pair of sandals but I saw these and I had to have them. I love leopard print, it's my favourite print and for £6 I just could not say no.
I got a pair of these about two years ago and I wore them to death so I thought I'd get a new pair. I got these for the ridiculous price of £2.50, how crazy is that?!
After hitting Primark hard (we were in there over an hour) we went to New Look and as I was looking through the sale items I stumbled upon this little beauty.
As I said earlier I'm a sucker for leopard print and I really liked the style of this top, it's a sleeveless t-shirt with really long arm holes, the material has tiny holes in it so you would need to wear a vest underneath. Again I thought this would look great with jeans for a casual daytime look and it was reduced from £16 to £8 so I got it for half price!
I need to stay away from Primark for a while before I spend every penny I've got in there, let me know what you think about the things I bought, I love reading your comments!

High End Make Up Wishlist
As my days as a student are now numbered, whilst working tirelessly over my dissertation, I often find myself day dreaming about all the lovely things I'll be able to buy once I get a full time job (well, I suppose IF I get a full time job!)
So often I look on many a blog, where the blogger has indulged themselves with high end brands without batting an eye lid! So, I gave myself an limitless budget, and made a wishlist! (Probably the more sensible option, rather than taking out another student loan to satisfy my jealousy!)
001. When I discovered the Laura Mercier's Secret Finish in Mattifying, I couldn't believe how much this product must have been made for me! It's a liquid gel made to combat oily skin. Instead of working as a primer, which I initially expected this product to be - it's designed to be used for touch ups through out the day, over your make up, working to absorb facial oils and so instantly mattifiying the appearance of your skin on contact. How amazing is that? Instead of adding more make up to your face (which is not great for oily, porous skin) by patting on a pressed powder to your shiny patches, you can just dab on this gel and it soaks up the oil all by itself! Ah, what an invention! Want, want, want!
002. I'm a real sucker for a coral/pink lip as of recent, it seems to be the only colours I will look at in lipsticks - but I love it. When I discovered this Velvet Matte Lip Stick in La Ravissante by Chanel, I just went 'ohhhh'. I sincearly couldn't imagine a prettier colour, and so appropriate for the Summer months a head of us too! There matte range is available in eight different shades, and are 'enriched with ultra-thin mother-of-pearl particles', so I can
003. Estee Lauder have an extensive Double Wear range, but I think what they're known for best in the blogging world is their Double Wear Stay-in Place Foundation. I'm really into my medium to full coverage looks when it comes to applying my base when doing my make up, it's just the look I prefer. And I have found good levels of coverage within drug store foundations I have used, but I've just heard such amazing things about Double Wear, that I can't help but daydream about how flawless my face could look if I used it! The foundation claims up to 15 hours coverage, despite the foundation being such a lightweight formula. It's also a matte foundation, and after trying a few 'illuminating' foundations recently, I'm definitely due something a bit more mattifiying for my oil prone skin.
004. The fact that this Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick Compact in Bronze is so pretty is enough of a selling point for me. As a major lover of contouring and highlighting, I feel like this bronzer is right up my street. I can imagine it has the capabilities to create a gorgeous summer glow to your cheeks! I love the shimmer in all the shades, and the bronzes just look so deep and luxurious, and I can imagine it working well with a either a baby pink blush, or a deep rouge for a more dramatic, evening look!
005. Finally, this beautiful Bobbi Brown blush in the shade Apricot. I just feel like this shade screams Spring! It's such a warm shade, yet so ditsy colour which I just think is stunning. I have an extensive blush collection, but none in a shade like this! And I can imagine as it's Bobbi Brown, it would be a very pigmented blush. I can really imagine Apricot working well with the Shimmer Brick Bronze, as it will add shimmer to this mattified blusher, and mixed together will create a beautifully defined look when contouring.
So, what do you think of my high end picks? What would you choose if you could afford any pricey product?

Essie's Poppy Razzi Collection!
Omg! I have just seen this nail polish collection online and I had to do a blog post on it because it looks amazing!
It's the new summer collection from Essie called the Poppy Razzi Collection and it consists of four gorgeous neon colours.
The colours starting from the top are
Lights - a neon fuchsia
Camera - a neon coral red
Action - a neon tangerine
Bazooka - a neon orange
I love these colours! I don't actually own any Essie polishes yet so these could well be my first ones.
What do think? Do you love them? Let me know!

Daytime Holiday Outfit!
Here's another look that I put together for my holiday, I thought this would look great worn in the daytime if we go for a walk out somewhere.
I love the peacock feather print top and I think this and the shorts would look great worn over a bikini, the sandals look really comfortable, perfect for walking and the bag is just the right size to hold everything I need.

Let me know what you think! :)

Blue Zooey Deschanel Inspired Nails ♥
Hi Lovelies, As most of You probably know I LOVE Zooey Deschanel & Her hit TV Show 'New Girl'.
Everytime she Tweet's or Instagrams a Picture of Her Nails I have to try them out Myself & recreate the look.
On Her Instagram a few days ago she put this photo of some nails that she did herself.

They are an Electric Blue Nail with light blue ends that create a V shape.
My nails are only short at the moment as they are peeling & breaking alot!! >.<
For My Look I Used:

China Glaze Frostbite & Collection 2000 Electric Dreams.
First of all I did 2 coats of China Glaze Frostbite over all of My nails.

Once fully dry taking Collection 2000 Electric Dreams I swept at an angle on each side of the nail creating the desired effect on the ends.

Dont worry If You get any on Your skin, this can easily be removed with some nail varnish remover on a cotton bud.

I Love this look, It's different, quirky & You can try out lots of experiments using different Colours.
Thanks for Reading Lovelies, Have a Fab Day.
