Technic Carnival Nail Glitter

I adore this combination together! I just think it's so pretty and so Spring! Just a shame that we're slap bang in the middle of a Siberian blizzard (exaggeration, maybe).

The bottom coat is 17's Parma Violet, which is from last Spring's Candy collection. But I think I picked it up late October last year in Boots. I'll definitely be buying more from that range, they're all such soft, pastel colours that are just so cute, and very good at brightening up your day! I just put one coat of Parma Violet on. It has good coverage, as I find with the vast majority of 17's nail polishes. Also, it's hard enough removing nail glitters from your nails as it is, without have to contending with a thick layer of nail varnish underneath as well!

I just put one coat of Technic's Carnival on. I've seen pictures on other's blogs when they've really piled on the glitter, but I liked how the two different varnishes were working together so I left it at that. After discovering it on Georgina's blog, I picked my bottle up on ebay, as it seems to be selling out fast everywhere else! And I can understand why, it's an amazing dupe for OPI's Rainbow Connection.

The glitter itself is easy to apply. It doesn't gloop up, and the brush allows for even and generous nail coverage. It's really very impressive for such a cheap product. I seriously love this glitter, it's definitely one of my most worth while purchases in a while!
